Just a bit of fun. I opened up my WordPress as I wanted to write a poem as a bit of light relief over the full on couple of weeks I have been through. The beckoning, flashing title at the top made me smile and I thought I would see if I could do soemthing with it.

“Title” flashed at the top
I thought it as good as any
The words rushing through my mind
Were fast, furious and many
But what to write
and what to say
to do justice to a resounding
The word I had chosen to sum up my theme
It was soooo full of zest
Indeed. nothing could be found
That would make sense
Neither hidden nor plainly
To see
No effervescence from my
fingers would bubble
floating up with imagination.
The name of the poem itself
had to be its legacy
No champagne sparkles
No bubbling wit
No matter what, nothing would fit
Dejected, despondent, denied and done in
I could not seem
to get the words flowing
That expressed the vital
meaning from my TITLE.
